We’re excited to share that our recent Tassie meet-up was a huge success! It was fantastic to see so many Tasmanian caravan and camping businesses come together, share their thoughts, ideas, and get to know their neighbours a little better.
The goal was simple: to bring Caravanning Tasmania members together and give everyone a chance to have their say.
A huge thank you to both Dennis Austin and Joanne Keown for their incredible effort in making this event happen.
Event Highlights:
Monday Night: Members shared a relaxed community dinner, filled with good food and even better conversations. The dinner provided the perfect setting for members to unwind and engage in meaningful discussions and get to know one another. It was great to see everyone connecting on a personal level, sharing stories, and enjoying the evening together.
Tuesday Morning: The breakfast meeting at Peppers Silo was packed with useful presentations and lots of networking. Members discussed new ideas and strategies for the future. The event provided ample opportunities for members to network, exchange ideas, and build stronger connections within the community.
Key Takeaways:
The main themes were focused on enhancing our businesses and exploring Caravanning Tasmania’s plans for growth and member support. There were plenty of practical insights and innovative ideas shared on how to elevate our services, improve our marketing strategies, and leverage social media for greater impact.
Additionally, we discussed future initiatives that aim to provide more support and resources to our members, ensuring that our Caravanning Tasmania community continues to thrive.
Future Plans & What’s Next:
This was Dennis’ inaugural meeting as president, with many more in the pipeline. While we don’t currently have a date for the next meeting yet, stay tuned for plenty of exciting future opportunities.
