About Ross Caravan Park

Ross Caravan Park is not just a stop-over but a destination!

Ross Caravan Park is not just a stop-over but a destination! Now under the management of Northern Midlands Council, the park is a hidden gem, providing a unique experience in a heritage setting. Located on the banks of the Macquarie River and within walking distance of the iconic Ross Bridge, the park is a fantastic halfway destination between Launceston and Hobart for Tasmanian locals and tourists alike wishing to soak up a little bit of history. We offer power and unpowered caravan and tent sites as well as Heritage Listed Cabins which have a total charm of their own. There is a wonderful communal fire pit area, free-to-use BBQs, and a pizza oven, as well as a coin-operated laundry and full amenities which include an all-accessibility facility. Whether you are a solo traveler, travelling with your four-legged mate, or with the family, or looking for a romantic getaway in one of our Heritage Cabins, the Ross Caravan and Cabin Park has something to suit all.
