The park is one of the best places to view Tasmania’s diverse free-ranging native wildlife. Wombats can be seen wondering with their babies well before dark, wallabies, paddymelons & listen for the growls of the Tasmanian devils & numerous birdlife which can be easily observed in the park & along the river shores. White-bellied sea eagles are often seen gliding overhead.
Explore Narawntapu National Park which stretches from Greens Beach on the mouth of the Tamar River to Bakers Beach. The national park has many walking tracks with abundant bird & animal life all easily seen.
The kids have a large playground to run around plus a solar heated pool to cool off on those hot summer days. All cabins have BBQ’s to take advantage of those long summer evenings & the campers kitchen is there for all campers.
